Постинфекционный астенический синдром (ПАС) и когнитивные нарушения являются значимыми последствиями перенесенной инфекции COVID-19 у взрослых, однако их особенности у детей изучены недостаточно.</p></sec><sec><title>   Цель</title><p>   Цель. Охарактеризовать особенности астенического синдрома и когнитивного статуса у детей после перенесенной инфекции COVID-19.</p></sec><sec><title>   Материалы и методы</title><p>   Материалы и методы. В проспективном одноцентровом исследовании участвовали 209 детей с подтвержденным диагнозом COVID-19. Оценка проводилась с помощью анализа медицинской документации, субъективной шкалы оценки астении MFI-20, динамического наблюдения в течение 6 месяцев. Нейрокогнитивное тестирование (память, внимание, мышление) проводилось у 46 пациентов с ПАС (основная группа) в сравнении с 12 условно здоровыми детьми (контрольная группа).</p></sec><sec><title>   Результаты</title><p>   Результаты. ПАС был диагностирован у 31,6 % (n = 66) детей со средней продолжительностью 2 месяца. В структуре ПАС доминировали общая физическая слабость (69,7 %) и повышенная утомляемость при умственной нагрузке (36,4 %). Статистический анализ не выявил связи между тяжестью острого периода COVID-19 и развитием ПАС. Нейрокогнитивное тестирование выявило достоверное (p &lt; 0,05) снижение показателей моторно-слуховой и зрительно-слуховой-моторной памяти у детей основной группы по сравнению с контрольной.</p></sec><sec><title>   Заключение</title><p>   Заключение. Перенесенный COVID-19 ассоциирован с развитием астенического синдрома, который проявляется комплексом нарушений, включающих общую физическую слабость, снижение толерантности к физическим и умственным нагрузкам, повышенную утомляемость, снижение мнестических функций, эмоциональную лабильность, цефалгию, головокружение, и специфическими нарушениями памяти в педиатрической популяции. Полученные данные подчеркивают необходимость динамического наблюдения и разработки таргетированных реабилитационных программ для данной категории пациентов.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>   Introduction. Post-infectious asthenic syndrome (PAS) and cognitive impairments are well-documented consequences of COVID-19 in adults; however, their characteristics in children remain insufficiently studied.   Aim. To characterize the features of asthenic syndrome and neurocognitive status in children following SARS-CoV-2 infection.   Materials and methods. A prospective single-center study included 209 children with confirmed COVID-19. Assessment was performed through medical record review, the Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory (MFI-20), and 6-month dynamic follow-up. Neurocognitive testing (assessing memory, attention, and executive function) was conducted in 46 children with PAS (main group) and compared with 12 apparently healthy children (control group).   Results. PAS was diagnosed in 31.6 % (n = 66) of children, with a median duration of 2 months. The predominant symptoms were generalized physical weakness (69.7 %) and increased mental fatigue (36.4 %). Statistical analysis revealed no significant association between the severity of acute COVID-19 and subsequent PAS development. Neurocognitive evaluation demonstrated significantly lower scores (p &lt; 0.05) in motor-auditory and visual-auditory-motor memory domains in the main group compared to controls.   Conclusion. Previous COVID-19 infection in children is associated with a distinct post-infectious asthenic syndrome characterized by physical weakness, reduced tolerance to physical and mental exertion, excessive fatigue, impaired mnemonic functions, emotional lability, headache, dizziness, and specific memory deficits.
