Среди обследованных пациентов у 16 (30%) была аллергическая форма бронхиальной астмы, у 21 (39%) - смешанная и у 17 (31%) - неаллергическая форма заболевания. У всех больных обострение астмы было спровоцировано острыми респираторными вирусными инфекциями. В результате проведенного исследования установлено, что исходно высокий уровень IFN-γ (&gt;8 пкг/мл, в контроле - 6,8±1,2 пкг/мл) в сыворотке крови больных свидетельствует о наличии персистирующей как вирусной, так, возможно, и бактериальной инфекции и определяет активный характер течения воспалительного процесса при бронхиальной астме. Низкие исходные значения содержания IFN-γ в сыворотке крови (&lt;4 пкг/мл) и понижение способности лейкоцитов крови продуцировать IFN-α и IFN-γ характеризует снижение противовирусной защиты организма, в результате чего повышается риск присоединения острой респираторной вирусной инфекции и обострения бронхиальной астмы. Включение циклоферона в комплексную терапию больных с различными формами астмы приводит к повышению уровня интерферонов, потенциирует IFN-синтетическую способность лейкоцитов крови, способствует достижению контроля над заболеванием и профилактике обострения бронхиальной астмы.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The paper deals with the research on the dynamics of change in IFN status as well as interferon-producing capacity of leucocytes in vitro. 54 bronchial asthma patients with different forms of asthma had been tested before they went through cycloferon treatment, during the treatment, and after it. 16 (30%) of the tested had an allergic form of bronchial asthma, 21 (39%) had a mixed form, аnd 17 (31%) had a non-allergic form. With all the patients, the exacerbation of bronchial asthma was provoked by acute respiratory viral infections. The research showed that initially high IFN-γ (&gt;8 pg/ml, control - 6.8±1.2 pg/ml) index in the patients' blood serum results from persistent viral and, probably, bacterial infections and causes active inflammatory process in bronchial asthma patients. Low initial indices of IFN-γ (&lt;4 pg/ml) in blood serum and decrease in the capacity of blood leucocytes to produce IFN-α and IFN-γ point to the weakening of anti-virus body resistance, which results in the increase of the risk of acute respiratory viral infections and worsening of bronchial asthma.
